This position plays a key role in the management of our responsibilities and obligations with respect to homeowner’s associations. The HOA Coordinator is responsible for the formation of HOA’s; selection of HOA property management companies; coordination and monitoring of all HOA issues between the builder and HOA; and oversight of the HOA turn-over to the community residents.  The ideal candidate will work closely with the VP of Land Acquisition in the completion of these responsibilities. 


Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Formation of the HOA, including the Articles of Incorporation; CC&R’s; Bylaws; Design Guidelines and any other required documentation.

  • Selection and oversight of HOA management companies to manage the day to day activities of the homeowner’s association. Internal liaison with builder’s land; sales and construction personnel with respect to homeowner’s association issues.

  • Monitor the HOA management companies, including regular community reviews, to ensure compliance with the management agreements.  Responsible for day to day builder administrative duties in connection with financial, legal and operational responsibilities of the builder to HOA.

  • Perform on-site transfers of the common tracts to the HOA and coordinate builder’s completion of any turnover issues. 

  • Attend quarterly and annual meetings for each association as the builder representative. Address all matters between the management company and the builder for all homeowner issues.



Candidates Will Need to Meet the Following Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in property management. Previous experience as an HOA Property Manager a plus but not required.

  • Team player with ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities and ability to work on numerous communities and with a number of people simultaneously.

  • Professional, detail oriented, self-starter with strong time management and organization skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
