The Twin Cities Division of CalAtlantic Homes is looking for a Sales and Closing Coordinator to provfide support to the division and the customer in procuring the sale and preparing the sale for the close. The person is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the sales contract and coordinating the closing process for homebuyers to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all purchase documents.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Review and process the sales contract for accuracy.  
  • Communicate with all needed parties to finalize the contract.  
  • Work closely with the lender to prepare for and schedule the closing.  
  • Work closely with Sales Counselors to ensure all sales documents are accurate and complete.
  • Request and process information, as needed, from the buyer.  
  • Update and prepare lot premium schedules and release lots in system
  • Prepare and distribute sales and closings reporting
  • Prepare and distribute communications to utility providors

 

Qualifications

Candidates Will Need to Meet the Following Qualifications:

  • Strong detail orientation with excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative role.  Homebuilding or construction industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Accounting background a plus.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office with accounting system experience.  JD Edwards preferred).
  • Analytical ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
