As a key member of the team, the Land Acquisition Manager is responsible for providing critical support to the VP of Land and the broader division area.


Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Prepare market analysis, assess values and prepare narrative reports for properties under consideration for purchase.
  • Prepare complete financial analysis and pro-forma for properties under consideration for purchase.
  • Monitor market activities for pricing, value and absorption.
  • Assist with feasibility studies and the preparation of land acquisition packages for approval.
  • Source new land acquisition opportunities for the division, including raw land and finished lots.
  • Assist as needed with management of land acquisition from contract to closing.
  • Assist with property rezonings and community planning.


Candidates Will Need to Meet the Following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with at least 5 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, computer and communication skills.
  • Experienced in the use of market research tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and self-managed.
  • Local experience is recommended and preferred.
